A map of Birštonas is well worth packing before you set off, although a few hotels and the Tourist Information Centre do have a few free copies. Some bookshops and large supermarkets in Vilnius and Kaunas stock them. Several of the places listed in this guide only accept cash, so be sure to carry some with you at all times.
