The Aleksotas Funicular at the southern end of Aleksoto Tiltas boasts a fine view of the city. Opened in 1935, the original fare was a mere 0.10Lt for adults, and the price remains a bargain to this day at just 0.50Lt. The view of the city from the top is wonderful and well worth the treck over the bridge. Tickets are bought from the lady who rides in the vehicle with you.
