Kaunas Tourist Card

City cards are a bit of a lottery and we haven’t had any feedback about the recently introduced Kaunas Tourist Card, so here’s a short and entirely objective overview based on the promotional material. Valid for seven days, the Kaunas Tourist Card costs 68.99Lt and includes an e-ticket for public transport (which appears to be valid for just three days for some reason), an e-wallet to the value of 30Lt for museums, and a third part entitling card holders to discounts in a number of bars and restaurants around the city. Kaunas Tourist Cards can be purchased from the Kaunas Regional Tourist Information Centre (below) or from many hotels and museums. From the look of it, if used wisely it does appear to offer good value for money.
