A super little addition to Old Town and Kaunas in general, at the time of writing Gyvas offered 33 different unpasteurised Lithuanian beers from microbreweries around the country. Intimate and friendly, finding a seat can be difficult during the weekend, which can be a real problem if you’re drinking some of the stronger beers on offer. As well as the opportunity to get smashed on original ale, there’s also chess sets available for those who can handle their drink and sports on the television for those who can’t.
