Exactly the sort of place one imagines on every street corner in the new Eastern Europe, B.O. (Blue Orange) is actually a rare treat in Lithuania and a welcome find indeed. Scruffy, predominantly unpretentious and peopled by a collection of alternative 20-somethings who favour a more unprocessed kind of lifestyle over that enjoyed by the sickly-sweet MTV generation this highly recommended bar, DJ hangout and occasional live music venue positively breathes fresh air into an otherwise stale Old Town. Raucous and untamed, if you can actually remember the night you spent here, it’s almost certainly going to be a night you never forget.
