Hidden away inside a small courtyard, this place is a real find. The Egyptian and Lebanese food is simply knockout and the décor is fun. The best option is to do it properly and order a table-load of small dishes. With excellent falafel and equally good hummus, the bread lets the side down slightly, but this definitely rates as one of the city’s top places to eat. A small terrace opens during the warmer months, plus there’s bubble pipes and the occasional belly dancing to add further flavour, although the latter usually requires an extra payment to attend.
