A dying breed all over the country, this is one of the last of its kind in the centre of Kaunas, offering modern historians and budget travellers alike an experience like no other. This place, found at the top of the stairs at the back of the building, not only dishes up classic no nonsense food for buttons but has also managed to retain much of its original décor. The lightshades on the ceiling alone are worth a visit. Magnificent.
