The intriguing cellar restaurant of one of the best hotels in Kaunas gets its name from the alcohol content of the country’s traditional moonshine, samanė (aka samagonas, or, in the Russian, samagon). Split into two parts, one rustic the other a little more classy, learn about the making and drinking of moonshine whilst consuming from a menu of well-prepared international dishes. Service is some of the best around, and the atmosphere can be fun.
