The country’s favourite folk restaurant chain complete with cheerful waitresses dressed as milk maids is too much for some, but if you don’t mind a bit of Disney with your dinner there are few restaurants to beat them. The menu strays beyond antique food with steaks and great salads also on offer, although vegetarians might have some difficulty here. The shopping centre location is slightly naff, but take it from the experts, years of eating in these places has revealed them to be masters of consistency, a rare quality in Lithuania. Exceptionally good value too. Also at Islandijos 32 (Mega).
