Worth a look inside, the Kaunas Picture Gallery houses a permanent exhibition of 20th-century Lithuanian and Lithuanian émigré art, including a section dedicated to the Kaunas-born founder of the Fluxus movement George Maciunas (Lith. Jurgis Mačiūnas, 1931-1978). There are also temporary exhibitions, some of them excellent, and a wide range of art-related activities.
