Consistently good service inside a demented barnyard setting, this is the place everybody likes to say bad things about and yet where everybody goes to eat. For good-tasting traditional food at affordable prices, few compare, although it’s wise to steer clear of the more ambitious dishes as they often don’t make the grade. Particularly good fun for people eating in groups or with young children.

I have been twice and on both cases was more than happy with the food. Worthy of mention are their cepelinai (zeppelins - potato with a meat filling, in a cream sauce) which were very good, unlike the ones I had at a roadside cafe which were pure stodge. As zeppelins are the de-facto national dish, if the restaurant can get these right then they've crossed the first hurdle.
