Functioning as a super restaurant during the day, Marseille, which is only open during the summer season, is perhaps best described and indeed enjoyed in its evening mode as a happening lounge bar. Featuring lots of crudely painted white surfaces and a rather nice slapdash approach to decorating in general, Marseille functions as a restaurant, art gallery, performance space and club, all of which are known to work very well indeed. As with so many places these days, checking their Facebook is the best way of keeping up with what’s happening here.
