Getting there
There’s only one proper road to Nida. Travel its winding 50km path from Smiltynė by car or bus or peddle your bicycle along the cycle track all the way to the resort. Nida is also reachable from Kaliningrad, which is a couple of kilometres south of the village. Inside a protected national park, a small fee is required to enter, which is included in the price of the ticket if you're arriving by bus but that needs to be paid if entering by any other means. For a journey with a difference, take the water taxi to Nida. See www.vandenstaxi.lt for more information.
