The once 13 metre sundial, now in a state of ruin after the 1995 hurricane, still contains enough detail to make out some ancient Baltic patterns, although, sat as it is at the top of the 52 metre Parnidis dune, the real reason to come here is for the breathtaking panoramic views of both the lagoon and the Baltic Sea.
