Opened in January 2008 inside the city’s large modern, multi-purpose arena, this small museum celebrates the sporting legends of the area and is the only sport-related museum in northern Lithuania. With the help of the 350 or so exhibits on display, the curators are encouraging society to be more healthy and able-bodied. A little bit south of the city centre, we applaud this attitude, and suggest you enter into the spirit of things and walk there.
