Dining & Nightlife
To visit Trakai and not eat
kibinai is like going to Japan and circumventing the noodles. As well as the aforementioned Karaite speciality, the town can also provide sustenance from one or two other corners of the world. Don’t expect too much in the way of fine dining, but do be thankful that you won’t have to pack sandwiches. What little nightlife there is in Trakai tends to take place in its restaurants, although a couple of clubs do open for the summer. If in doubt, ask a local.
