I met Ed McCoy at the Russia Hotel with Frank Zappa who was at that time trying to put together a collaborations with Russia musical band named Stasnamen. Ed McCoy was giving concerts all over Russia and he was very active in trying to have the Russian audience send letters to Ronald Reagan to keep marching toward Russian-American peace movement. Ed McCoy gave concerts with Russia most romantic singer Alexander Malinin. The both along with American singer Raashaa gave fantastic concert. I wonder whatever happened to Ed McCoy.

I know Ed McCoy and his wife Raashaa who worked with me on Alexander Melinin's concert tour in Russia. They both were the first Aemerican artists who were signed by Teatre Pisni of Alla Pogacheva. They worked all over Russia from Moscow to Siberia. They both were great performers. I wonder whatever happened to them? Anyone knows where they are now?Olga

Ed McCoy performed Russia's romance ballad singer Alexander Malinin in Kiev Stadum. I saw the concert and it was a very unique experience for Ed McCoy and his female American singer Raashmeen performed together with Alexander malinin. I remember that at the end of each concert Ed McCoy passed on self addressed envelopes to the audience to write to President Reagan about the peace between USSR and USA. Musically it was a combinatin of country, rocak a Billlt, pop and rock concert. I beleive this was among the first Russian-American concert series. Concert was a fantastic idea that took place between the artists of Russia and the USA.

I remember the concerts of Ed McCoy at the Kieve's Olympic Stadium. I followed Ed McCoy, Raasha and Sasha Melinin in five concerts around Moscow and leningrad as well. Ed McCoy's classic rock and Rocl a billy music was fantasitic. He was one hell of a performer. As a visiting American I was thrilled seeing an American artist doing so well in spreading a little Amereicana at the time when Gorbachave was just begining to emerge from the clutches of Red Square and its gate keepers.Every show of Ed McCoy was fantastic. Anyone knows whatever happend to Ed McCoy? I've heard he's now using his native American name Ed Silvercloud instead of Ed McCoy. Anyone knows any thing about Ed McCoy or Ed Silvercloud?

In 1989-1990 Russia's famous singer Alla Pogacheva's Teatre Peecne organized the first ever American performer's concerts with Sasha Melinin, Alexander Seroff, Andre Makaravich and the American country rock singer Ed McCoy (Ed Silvercloud) and Raasha in this beautiful concert hall. Does any one have any pictures or video of these concerts?
