Bunte Gans churns out excellent German cuisine and other dishes in this Old Town favourite. The imaginative, good value food on offer includes schnitzels, curry wurst, bangers and mash, fresh fish and bread and the house special dish of goose with fried potatoes and a host of other vegetables. There’s live music during the weekends and an extensive range of drinks including the recommended German beers Warsteiner and Erdinger.

We were really impressed by such a high quality of food and service! Grateful THANK YOU to that cozy little restaurant which made us enjoying every minute and every bite while having a releasing break from business activities. At last a restaurant in Vilnius where everything is done in order to make the customer come back! Food was quality and portions were largely enough. Moreover, we came with children and the kids ate something balanced and tasty at the same time, which in Lithuania happens even less than anywhere else. Although located in one of the most touristical places, prices are reasonable for what you get (i.e. much more than anywhere else in town). Definitely one of the best addresses in Vilnius although not the cheapest one.

We were eating here two days ago.It is charming small restaurant with truly delicious food and professional service.Good value and great atmosphere.Oh,and super pleasant chef.Good luck Thom!
