As one would expect from the Radisson brand, their in-house Vilnius Old Town restaurant is pure top class. Tastefully decorated in cool browns, eat in a choice of two halls, one with a little privacy and the other with large windows looking out onto the street outside. The small but well-chosen menu features a cavalcade of classics with a predominantly French flavour. Recommended is the slow roasted rabbit with sauté potatoes. The service is friendly and attentive, and the drinks menu, including a couple of good champagnes, is equally impressive.

This restaurant is a real treat. Having been there three times, I enjoyed a superb meal every time. The entire menu, from starters to entrees to desserts, offers the gamut of tastes: spicy, mild, local and international. The wines also were a nice compliment to the meal. There are numerous light dishes in the menu, so if you're counting calories, you can manage better here than in many other Vilnius restaurants. The service is prompt but discrete, and in contrast to some other high-end restaurants, the waitresses were quite pleasant, even smiling, and certainly some of the best in my Vilnius dining experience. The restaurant's ambience cheers up dark, cloudy winter afternoons (all those windows letting in what little daylight exists), and in the summer the sunlight all the more creates a light mood. The bill will feel a bit "Scandinavian" in price, but in all likelihood you will feel like you got good value for your money.
