Friendly and well turned-out staff are on hand to serve a range of superb, meat-heavy dishes and a few peasant classics such as boiled pigs' ears alongside a good choice of beers from local small breweries. There’s a choice of rooms in which to dine as well as the option of propping up the bar and getting quietly sloshed, whilst during the summer the addition of a small terrace out the back in which a young member of staff is known to appear with a barbecue and start grilling meat is a very welcome addition indeed. Pretty much perfect for any occasion.
