Da Antonio Trattoria

For a very visible restaurant on a tourist thoroughfare you shouldn’t be surprised that it’s a little bit expensive in here. But the fact that they offer decent food is a pleasant surprise. As such, this is a suitable standby for visitors who are milling around Old Town and don't mind paying a little extra for a convenient location and excellent people-watching potential.

    Hello,
We didn't publish your comments because they were much like the one above. We welcome all constructive criticism but, much like anybody else, don't really appreciate being abused for no conceivable reason. In answer to your accusations, nobody, including Da Antonia, pay us a bean to write anything, positive or otherwise.

Just ate the best tortellinis ever, 27Lt isn't that bad for quality food, excellent and friendly service, nice music and cosy athmosphere. Dessert, lemon pie was also far too good. I might have to go back tomorrow!

Trattoria is far too expensive. I paid 160Lt for a three-course meal with the cheapest wine. That's approx. 45 Euro! In Bruxelles for a similar meal I paid 50 Euro! Consider Da Antonio get most of their ingriedents from Lituania (very cheap), local labour (cheap) and low taxes. Plus, rents are generally lower ,compared to the centre of Rome, Paris or London. So why are they charging Western European prices, for mediocre food, (compared with what I ate recently in Rome,Italy)?

I honestly disagree with you, if you are smart and inteligent, by the way you get the menu alllways to study the food and the prices, after tasting the food you will know what you are paying for. Then this trattoria is not made for backpackers, or the one's who come to Vilnius to eat in McDonalds or Cili Pica. If you want to eat junk foo you go to those places I have just mentioned, but if you are looking for real italian food then choose Da Antonio. And the prices that are worth the quality of the products and the food can not be called rip-off!!!!
