Parked in a street just around the corner from the Užupis Angel, this tip-top pizza joint is either bustling and busy or dead as a door nail. Whatever state it’s found in, the pizza they serve is decent enough if not exactly gourmet. Eschew the other meals and stick to the house food and you’ll be just fine. Service is of course amusing, and the outdoor seating during the warmer part of the year is exceedingly pleasant.

Service is amusing indeed - the tomatoes and cucumbers promised by the waitress to come with cod and rice looked exactly like one small leaf of lettuce and a piece of lemon!
I disagree with the review too.it would be nice to mention that it is almost the only place in Vilnius who cook with real fire wood, as a lot of people like the specific taste it give, I do, and considering that the quality of pizzas making in Vilnius is just awfully bad, even if not super great, i will put the Pizza there in the very good ones in Vilnius.Also, it ia at least a place with some atmosphere, i personnaly hate the big chain food as Cili etc...so a amll place like that will always have my favor.
I wholeheartedly disagree with this review. Ok, the service is average for Vilnius - not the best but definitely not the worst. The pizza is better than Cili, that's for sure. But the best thing about Uzupio picerija are the omelets. Particularly good after a long night out, my brother and I used to crawl across the street nearly every weekend to get them. Go there for breakfast if nothing else!
