This Vilnius institution fails to go away because you know that if you eat here you’re going to get decent food for a good price. It’s as simple as that. Service is brisk and friendly and the food never fails to impress, leaving one with a pleasant glow all over after eating it. Recommended is the pasta with lamb ragout, mushrooms and cream sauce followed by pear cooked in red wine with cream and blue cheese sauce. Knockout.
Da Antonio I comments

I was living in vilnius for five years, and got the best service and the best food in Da antonio 1. The price is middle, and food is top. The waitress and chefs are very kind, give all you need for a nice evening, and perfect dinner, or as well a business lunch... the complaints from above and VP is becuase if you are treating people bad, then your service will be bad as wel,,try to smile, and you get a smile back. - 24

I came here four years ago, I asked for a 'scallopine al limone' (thin veal in a flour-based lemon-scented white sauce). Instead, I was served a thick veal with tomatosauce! I didn't complain! (I should have). Problem is, Italian restaurants outside of Italy, are never as good as in Italy (lack of fresh ingriedients, lack of Italian cooks). So you tend to be more forgiving ... but now that prices have risen in the Da Antonio chain to almost western European levels I shall be less forgiving in the future!
