It’s got a French sounding name, an Italian-themed menu and a location over the river where no one tends to go. The food is also a bit all over the place, with occasional disappointment lurking among mostly wonderful meals that are skilfully prepared and reasonably priced. The setting is pleasant, with a great view of the castle on the hill. Service is, erm… variable. Overall, worth a stroll over the bridge for a quiet, relaxed and pleasant dining experience.
