Wheter you’re a five-star swanker or a scrimp-n-save backpacker, a quick flick through our accommodation listing is sure to turn up somewhere for you to put your head when you’re not using it. Vilnius has a good range of accommodation options covering everything except the top-end of the market. Visiting rock stars can throw televisions out of the windows of at least a couple of hi-rise high standard hotels, but those expecting swish suites and matching levels of service might be disappointed. At the other end of the scale, there are plenty of options for those who wish to shack-up with backpackers or rent an apartment and cook their own food.Unfortunatley, most local hotelliers haven’t worked out what a concierge is supposed to do, but the reception staff are generally happy to fill the role. Besides, you’ve got Vilnius In Your Pocket. You don’t need a concierge.
Don’t count on hotel restaurants being any good. Some of them are excellent, but it’s also true that some of the best hotels play host to some of the worst restaurants. See our Restaurants pages for advice.

Beware of the "taxi service" this hotel runs. If you ask them to call a taxi to take you to the airport, they will kindly charge you 70 Litas for the short 6 km ride. Usually, it should not cost more than about 20 Litas; big tourist rip off.[...]
