Who wants to stay in the Flea Room? It's just one of many market-themed rooms. There's the Flower Market Room, Animal Market, Fish Market and so on. Regardless of themes, all rooms have a simple, edgy and funky feel but are decorated on the cheap. Basically they've tried to follow the W hotels or Wallpaper* concept without the budget. Still there are all the basic facilities, such as flat screen televisions and free WiFi. Beds, however, seem to be very thin - kind of like padded pencil cases. This is certainly refreshing and creative and we happily recommend it to people who are not fat. Located right next to a bustling market, which will make an interesting start to any day.

We thought this small hotel was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly, good parking at the back, it's near the city centre and a tasty organic breakfast is delivered to your room when you want (you just need to chalk up the time next to your room number on the black board in reception - remember Vilnius is 2 hours ahead of London and 1 ahead of Central European time). - 04

We (me & my boyfriend) stayed just recently in Old Market for two nights. It is a small, quiet and tidy guesthouse with a nice, fresh twist in the decoration. The staff is utterly helpful and friendly - but you don't have the uncomfortable feeling of forced small talk, which I think is great when you just want to have some privacy. I very much disagree with In Your Pocket guide about the beds: we found them wonderfully soft & comfy, and definitely big enough, so by no means like "padded pencil-cases"! The other thing I want to mention is the simple but well-working breakfast (bread, cheese/ham/eggs etc, cereals, milk, fruit juice, chocolate, coffee/tea). It is included in the price, and thoughtfully brought into your room just when you want. Quite nice!
