A classic hostel in the old sense, meaning you’re just as likely to find hard up Polish pensioners staying here as you are middle class English university students pretending to be poor. Ignore the fact that it’s not actually in Old Town and don’t expect all-night parties with new-found Australian soul mates and you’ll be fine. Facilities are thin on the ground as one would expect, but for the price you’d be an idiot to complain. Surplus to the army-style barracks are a few smaller rooms with en suite bathrooms and cooking facilities.
