Vilnius

I stayed at the Ratonda twice during the winter of 07-08. Generally good value for money, but that could be because of reduced winter rates. The reception was always very helpful and pleasant, the rooms clean and the breakfast buffet was fairly comprehensive. The location is central, but at the opposite end of central Vilnius from the Old Town. Very close to the Genocide Museum, however. It's a very decent hotel, but maybe not the most competitive four-star hotel.Letitia Rydjeski

I stayed in the Centrum on my first visit, and found it excellent, spoiled only by being close to a very, very loud pop music festival on Saturday night, so on my second visit I moved to the Ratonda, whciuh is just as good and has the advantage of being more central (just off Gedimino). Comfortable room, smiling staff, and a good breakfast.B.W.Johnson
