Another fine business-orientated hotel from the Centrum people, this one being conveniently located to the main commercial district along Gedimino and the Lithuanian parliament building just around the corner. All rooms come with telephone, pay-television and free internet, with the superior rooms also boasting air conditioning. Little extras include all the usual provisions such as room service and laundry, as well as 24-hour currency exchange and, if one has time on one's hands, the option of tours around Vilnius and Lithuania.

  I stayed at the Ratonda twice during the winter of 07-08. Generally good value for money, but that could be because of reduced winter rates. The reception was always very helpful and pleasant, the rooms clean and the breakfast buffet was fairly comprehensive. The location is central, but at the opposite end of central Vilnius from the Old Town. Very close to the Genocide Museum, however. It's a very decent hotel, but maybe not the most competitive four-star hotel.

  I stayed in the Centrum on my first visit, and found it excellent, spoiled only by being close to a very, very loud pop music festival on Saturday night, so on my second visit I moved to the Ratonda, whciuh is just as good and has the advantage of being more central (just off Gedimino). Comfortable room, smiling staff, and a good breakfast.
