The final meltdown of The PUB, one of the capital’s first Western-style bars and clubs, was well overdue. In its place comes this interesting offering in the form of a combined wine bar, club, and adjoining 24-hour wine shop and café, all with different names but all part of the same place. Resplendent with all the prerequisite scruffy furniture and accommodating, cheery staff required for such a venture, nights out here waver between the pleasantly ordinary to frenetic adventures on the dance floor courtesy of one of their themed DJ nights. The wine menu is impressive, plus there’s plenty of hot food on offer to help keep you on your feet whilst you drink it.
