Constantly reinventing itself as a bar of some kind and even occasionally as a Chinese restaurant, the latest incarnation to set up shop at this address is a dark and moody beer hall of small proportion complete with Union Jack hanging above the bar and a motley collection of locals huddled in front of the beer pumps. The kind of place Lithuania is famous for, this is where to come for bizarre evenings of far too much cheap alcohol and extraordinary conversations of the instantly forgettable variety. A good bar crawl option for early in the evening.

Definitely the most comfy place for a Guinness in town tapped by friendly native speakers who always give you a warm welcome and a smile. Falling into heavy leather seats and couches enjoying a stout after entering through a typical red British phone booth instead of a front door the Portobello very quickly became our first place for a few late XL-pints of Guinness especially when all other bars already closed their doors. 100 moron-free too. Strongly recommended with a nice beergarden in the courtyard!
