Vilnius Municipality’s former HQ has been transformed into a grand shopping centre that never quite reaches its goal. Mildly bleak, there are at least a few good places to shop for the time being, among them the country’s first Body Shop as well as a decent Rimi supermarket in the basement.

  I think it's amazing that the building where my husband lived until the start of WWII is now a fabulous shopping centre. We visited Vilnius many years ago and would love to visit again one day. It's a lovely city.
