South of the Ramstore mall but well worth a detour, this unpretentious alternative café shares a former railway warehouse with an art gallery and cultural centre. The two-level space is furnished with wide garden chairs, and serves coffee and light snacks to a discerning international crowd.
Da, I really like the daughter of the owners, Nika. She is a Macedonian and still she doesn't smoke :) Kidding... well, this place is very nice, a bit more expensive than other places around, but still very cheap. Worthy to spend an evening or more in there. When living in Skopje, I was there once or twice a week for a coffee, tea or salep - a great one. You can also find a bookstore in the same building and a gallery.
