Belfast's other gay bar is a super slick all-singing, all-dancing entertainment complex starring Titti von Tramp, Belfast's resident baroness. Relax or let rip across Mynt's club nights. And polysexuals (basically everyone) can dance til the early hours at Fri and Sat's up-all-hours club nights
Kinetic and
Yello.
It was a terrible club, 10 pounds in, some douche reported me to a bouncer for "dancing in my space". then cudnt get my jacket because there was bad drugs going round, and 4 people were getting taken to hospital. bad bad bad place.
mynt door staff are wary of people that are not regular as a result of homophobic attacks, however, when you get a good gay crowd in its hard to beat.Get the gays in and the straights out and it would be a goldmine cus everyones fed up with the kremlin!!
Anyone visiting Belfast and tempted by Mynt, AVOID AVOID AVOID. I never even got over the door. Was staying in Belfast for a few days for work, deliberatly booking the hotel at the other end of the street and thought I'd check out this place. Looked and sounded the part. I turned up and was met by the palm of the hand of one of their ignorant door men telling me "no f**king chance". I (very) politely asked why and was told "I said, no f**king chance, do you want me explain further"(I paraphrase, I can't say he was that polite). Then got the treat of this big ignorant ape of a bouncer, and his ape like chum, walking toward me with their chests stuck out. I turned on my heels and walked away promptly and had a nice drink in a nearby straight pub called the spaniard. If this is how 'Mynt' welcomes people from afar, I say avoid it like the plague lads. First and last time I'll try to sample any Irish 'nightlife'. Scum of the earth manning the doors, not worth it.
i love mynt and yello im a girl whos straight and have met straight fellas there, i go most weekends and love the whole atmosphere, i would recommend it to anyone
Door staff are on a crazy power trip. Enough said.
I went to this club ONCE and was completely appauled by the behaviour of the doorstaff. I am a twenty one-year-old lesbian and they said I looked like a fifteen-year-old hooker! I don't recommend this place to anyone!

Probably the worst experience I ever had was going to this nightclub! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
i totally agree with the review above and because off the doorstaffs agressive manner it has put a lot of peope off going there.
