The Northern Ireland Tourist Board has produced a new publication exploring the cultural and genealogical links between Northern Ireland and the United States.

The publication takes visitors on a journey from the Plantation era through to the story of migration, and explores the impact that immigrants from the northern counties of Ireland had on the early development of the United States.

Also included is a self-guided Northern Ireland tour taking in significant sites and locations that tell this story, from Presidential Homesteads to Plantation houses and genealogical centres to ancient castles.
