Giant's Causeway

Brash Atlantic waves crash against the bizarre hexagonal basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway, formed either by a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, or the brawny actions of legendary giant Finn McCool.

Whichever story you believe, the rocks are an amazing sight and Northern Ireland's definitive tourism icon.

Visit the Interpretive Centre to learn more about this geographical phenomenon and NI's only UNESCO World Heritage Site.
