Adrenalin junkies should head to the Mourne Mountains and indulge in some action-packed activities. The guys at GASP have a range of extreme sports on offer - many unique to the island of Ireland.

Surfin' Dirt mountain boarding - a cross between snowboarding and skateboarding - makes the most of the Mournes' rugged landscape. All skills and ages can negotiate the nursery slope or conquer the main hill's long carving runs, jumps and other features. The team also offers an invigorating "Surf Soak Stay" special with seaweed bath and overnight accommodation included.

For a (slightly) more sedate experience, hop onto a customised Segway - those self-balancing two-wheeled transporters - and traverse rugged terrain or glide effortlessly around spellbinding Silent Valley. 

Other high-octane and inventive activities include a mountain bike trail, powerkites, blokarting (think go-kart with sail) and frisbee golf. Stags, hens and birthday parties are all welcome.
