Obel

Belfast's big skyscraper is 85m high, has 28 storeys above ground (and two below for car parking) and is the island of Ireland's tallest building. Obel's 282 apartments and c. 53,000 sq ft of commercial space have exceptional views across the city and Titanic Quarter. The landmark structure's name derives from the phrase 'Obelisk set in Old Belfast'. Get yourself a chunk of this prime downtown real estate and you're sitting pretty for some epic events - including 2012's Titanic centenary events, the 2015 return of the Tall Ships and Belfast's annual Hallowe'en firework extravaganza. To arrange a trip to the penthouse floor, contact the Lagan Boat Company (see separate listing) - charity donation applies.
