This grand old complex in the south of the city dates back to 1934 and features a prominent Art Deco-style facade. Its 32acre Showgrounds and various Exhibition Halls have long been the venue for conferences, events and great boxing moments including Barry McGuigan's successful World Title defence in 1985. The King's Hall annually hosts a funfair and agricultural, motor, holiday, home and garden shows.
