Bring your own bottle to this laid-back bistro where pizzas, pastas and meat dishes are devoured with great gusto. Oriental monkfish and chicken tempura are among the more exotic meals on offer and baby 'giraffes' get their very own kids menu too.

belfast 10 March 2010 in reply to the comment above i have been to giraffe several times and would just like to say that it is a restaurant not a coffee shop! it is a place to go if your hungry not if you want to sit and take advantage of free refills whilst you pass your boring lunch time. Giraffes food is great and i would recommend it to anyone!

London 01 September 2008 Went to Giraffe on a girls night, it was very good. We were a large group and the staff and service was excellent. The food was fantastic, we brought our own bottles and the service was smooth. We were a 30 strong party and we had no problems at all. I would seriously commend this restaurant for how they dealt with everything. We had a lovely night!

Cardiff 30 August 2007 We called in at 2.30pm for a cup of coffee and were told that we could only have lunch until the place 'settled down'. As there were only three other tables of customers we were quite surprised at this. The waitress said she was there by herself and this was 'just a rule'. We went to Cafe Conow instead and had a lovely home-made scone and Chai Latte! I thought that Giraffe's attitude was just a little bit uppity.
