China Buffet King

China Buffet King
Belfast's biggest, and Victoria Square's only, buffet-style Chinese restaurant certainly serves up quite the feast. Choose your table, join the queue and fill your plate from a heady selection of Asian (and some Western) dishes. Favourites such as spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken and singapore noodles sit alongside ever-changing exotic eats like king prawn in chilli garlic, lime and pepper roast pork and mixed veg in oyster sauce. Soups for starters and scrummy desserts with soft ice-cream top and tail the all-you-can-eat experience. And there's even a salad bar and good veggie selection for all herbivores. Leave an extra notch on the belt... and try and time your visit to avoid the lunchtime rush.

Lunch: Adult £7.80, Child £3.99. Grand Buffet Dinner: Adult Mon-Thurs £11.99, Fri-Sat £12.99, Child £5.50. Sun All Day: Adult £9.50, Child £3.99. (Children must be under 140cm/4ft 5in).

I went today the service was great! The food was equally good! My friend and I went and we're only 14 and 15 ) I am very small and got in for a child's price but my friend got in for an adult price being younger than me but taller. My friend didn't care at all. We had a great time and are going with some others tomorrow night! Stop moaning for goodness sake! The price is great for what you get ) Loved it even with me being a very fussy eater!

i love this place the food is yummy plenty 2 choose from n the staff r nice and friendly.the only downfall is it goes by height for children i have a child at 8yr old that is very tall for his age but doesnt eat much(bowl of rice with curry sauce)and having 2 pay adult price for him is scandless.

i actually agree with ibs her i loved this place very much food was fab place was clean etc and i would def go back but to pay 5.50 for my four yr old to eat prawn crackers 2 chicken balls and gravy is a bit ridiculous even if they lowered the price 2 wat you would pay for a mds or kfc kids meal that would be more acceptable

My neice Niamh thinks this place is totally amazing! Her favourite in the whole world! The best dish she gets is the sweet chilli chicken, ribs, curry....pretty much all of it. So it looks like I'm gonna have to go and see if she's right!

I love this place! So many dishes to choose from. I have been plenty of times and have never been disappointed. As for complaints about paying for children, I watched a young (Quite heavy) boy go the buffet several times, each time returning with the plate piled high, he literally ate more than the adults at my table (not to mention the two fistfuls of mints he lifted on the way out) so of Course kids should have to pay. Adults are getting a 3 course meal for 12 quid, so it's hardly justified moaning about a fiverfor children

Thats pathetic y r people complainin about havin to pay for kids? course ud have to pay if theyr eating the food? why cos they r small wouldnt u have to pay? they r still eatin the food and costin the restaurant money! oldies just come on here for a good owl moan!

Hello! i went here 3 times and would go 3 times more!!!! All you can eat for a good price! There are all types of food. if your child dosent like chinese there is chips and there is chicken and alot more. The people who work there are very nice. Some people think it is unfair you have to pay full price if you are over 140cm but it is like that in other places too.I would deffently advice people to go there, but make sure you are STARVING. I am going back sometime this week because i told my family about it. Highly recommened by alot od people!!!!! :)

Jad the worst experience in this restaurant. Approached the counter and found a MASSIVE black hair among the spring rolls. Notified a staff member who removed the hair, which in fairness could happen anywhere. I asked if she was going to change the dish and she ignored me. I decided not to eat there and on getting my bag etc gathered I watched at least 5 other people taking from the same tray of spring rolls. Spoke to manager on way out who was also horrified by what happened. Food was cold and dried up. Terrible place and the best bit is I am generally a fan of buffet chinese!!

Ridiculous that people are complaining bout their kids having to pay! Leave your kids at home, go to McDonalds or don't go? Its better that they strictly apply the rule than just to some people now and again.Personally I think its great, both for a quick bite out with the other half before the movies, or out with a bunch of mates.Great selection of food, and staff are great. You couldn't get a 3 course meal anywhere else in Belfast for 12 quid
