Snax 'N The City

Rub shoulders with the working crowd in this bright, bustling daytime diner with the pun-tastic title. Fill your boots (not literally, that would be hideous) with a steaming Irish Stew and wheaten bread or tackle a mega panini - we're not talking the usual flat fare here. The tasty soups and salads are made on site, and it's also reassuring to know that many a local office slave will pop in for a soup, stew or curry to take home and heat up for dinner.

I used snax n the city to cater for a party i was holding for my husbands birthday they were very friendly when i called saved me money and prevented a lot of wasted food with their advice (i was ordering too much initially) the owner suggested different options so that i could cater for everyone more economically. The food was amazing had a selection of hot dishes salads finger food and most surprisingly yummy homemade desserts and not the bought in stuff that is usually offered. I cant reccommend snax n the city enough definatly worth a try! B

Went yesterday for the first time for lunch and i have to say it was amazing. Takes a lot to impress me, and for something as mundane as soup i was extremely impressed. Even felt the need to call up and say how fantastic it was. Will be returning without a doubt

Went before and found the food to be too salty, but was encouraged to try again. Despite correcting the staff, they still got my order wrong - I was given a chicken curry potato instead of a chili con carne one. Will not be returning.

Went for lunch today, staff seemed friendly enough -trying to serve quickly and not have you waiting about. Suited me as I don't like slow ques. Food was great, can't think of anywhere else you can get home cooked food as good to go.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Pat. Customers seem to be an inconvenience in Snax 'N The City. For a sandwich shop, the staff seem extremely reluctant to make up sandwiches, they are often unfriendly and completely off-hand. Having just come from there and been astounded at a staff member's rudeness, I have vowed not to return (having gone there for several years).Customer service needs a shake-up.

I've always been greeted with a smile and the staff always have something to say to me, then again I'm friendly and approachable, maybe you should try sayin hello first Pat. Some things can seem a bit pricey but its tasty and hits the spot at lunchtime so to me its worth it and a lot healthier than most other fast food outlets. Burgerking always have a smile for new costomers Pat :D

No concern for customers, cheap and cheerful. Staff never say good morning or hello. Much better places around.
