Bishops

Bishops
If you want good chips in a salubrious setting, 364 days a year (sadly, no fish suppers on Christmas Day), get yourself down to this award-winning potato palace with its olden days decor. Brass fittings, cosy booths, stained glass windows and an open fire set the scene for swish fish and posh pastie suppers. Takeaway open into the night for post-pub munchies.

Bishops has really started getting big again. The food is good old fashioned fish and chips and I've noticed they do other things such as baguettes and salads which the wife loves. We had family from America over and they loved the place. You just cant beat it!
