Browns
Now in its 22nd year, Browns is one of Derry's best known and most lauded restaurants. Overlooking the River Foyle on the city's Waterside, the cooking is contemporary and the space swathed in neutral shades and stained wood with just a hint of zebra print. Owners - and siblings - Ivan and Elma Taylor work with head chef Frank Kivlehan to constantly evolve the experimental menu by combining fresh, local ingredients with gourmet touches. The culinary results have been described by renowned critic Georgina Allen as "cool food with style and panache". Groups of up to 60 can book The Back Room for private dining and meeting facilities.
