Palanga

Getting there

share

Travel to Palanga by bus from anywhere in Lithuania during the summer. The relatively new bus station is just outside the centre. Walk to the sea in 15 minutes or take one of the taxis parked outside and make sure the meter’s running before you set off. If you’re flying into Palanga Airport and you’re not renting a car on arrival, the best bet is to take a taxi, for which you’ll be lucky to get change from €20. There’s also several buses running from the airport, which take about 20 minutes to complete the journey. Give the driver €2 and away you go.
