Having a dull day exploring dusty museums? Then how about visiting a sewage plant. A trip to the Museum of Sanitary Technology allows you to troop around Gliwice’s first ever sewage plant (built in 1909), with exhibits including lots of rusty pipes, tubes and other contraptions, as well as scale models, photographs and views of the current functioning sewage works. It’s baffling and exceedingly pointless, and as such your visit here will provide plenty of conversational ammo when you hit the pub later on.
