Located right on Plac Wolnosci, Zaks is a corner of tranquillity and a nice contrast from the hectic bump and grind outside. The old-fashioned and quaintly cosy interior fools you into thinking the menu will only have a few of grandma’s favourite dishes, but they manage to have an enormous selection in a comparatively small restaurant. Daily specials let you try the local cuisine affordably, and there is a small bar if you decide to spontaneously upgrade your dinner plans.

  Traveling in Poland and visited Katowice as was recommended to come to this authentic original restaurant. I was blown away by the menu choice which was very unusual and extremely tasty. The staff were very friendly and I thorughly enjoyed the whole experience.
