If you’re 15 and living in Katowice then a night in McDonald’s is better than a weekend in Paris. And to be fair this McDonald’s is more interesting than most. Protected by a mooching security guard with a cigarette sitting permanently on his lip, otherwise this place has a vaguely classy interior as far as fast food chains go; in fact Americans will probably feel some mild disorientation, forgetting to ask for extra kethcup packets with their order, resulting in a rather foul temperament throughout the course of their meal.
