All Saints Church [Kościół Wszystkich Świętych]

The 15th century All Saints Church is one of the defining landmarks of Gliwice, and though modified through the ages it remains a stunning example of Gothic architecture. Recent excavations suggest that the immediate surrounds functioned as a cemetery from as early as the 12th century, while the brick church itself is a feast for the eyes, and stuffed with intricate statues of the saints. The church tower can also be climbed for views of the city, but only on weekends between May and September at precisely 16:00 and 17:00.
