Grot means something entirely different in Polish (an arrowhead, incidentally), so don’t for a moment think you’ll be staying in a self-confessed house of horror. On the contrary, this is the best hotel in Malbork, certainly the most modern, with a generic three star design and gleaming fittings. With wifi throughout and a decent on-site restaurant this is the one place were you’ll find international standards consistently repeated.
