Bydgoszcz bus station is a very basic affair with a single-story building set next to some run-down platforms (fortunately there’s refreshment options aplenty inside the Focus Mall right across the road). Inside the station itself (04:00 - 23:00) you'll find a ticket office, shop, left luggage and toilets (06:00-20:00) but no ATM. Once again, head to Focus to conquer that problem. A Tourbus office can give you information and sell you bus tickets. While closer to the market square than the train station it is still a good 20-30 minute walk away, though trams tootle down ul. Jagiellońska and take about five minutes. Tram number four will drop you at the bottom of ul. Gdańska from where the square is a 2 minute walk away. Trams 3 or 8 continue straight on.
